Plain reading
Every home benefits from a viewing. Saying so is not information about this one. These lines often show up when the photos are thin, the floor area is missing, or the description leans on adjectives. They are not a code for a hidden defect. They are a sign to look for what the listing still has not said, and to ask for it before you book the slot.
What the listing often leaves out
- Floor area, a floorplan, and room dimensions.
- Tenure, lease length, service charge, and council tax band.
- What the photos leave out — another bedroom, the street, the rear.
- A description that restates the headline instead of describing the building.
Questions to take to the viewing
- What should we look at in person that the listing and the photos do not show?
- Can you send the floorplan and the internal floor area before we come?
- What is the tenure, and the council tax band?
- Which lines in the description are the seller’s view, and which can you evidence?
